Dr. Tal Rotman is a Senior Partner at one of Israel’s leading law firms, and a Psychology Ph.D. Student at Reichman University, where he studies the effects of psychedelics on the human brain at Prof. Amir Amedi’s lab in the Baruch Ivcher Institute for Brain, Cognition & Technology and the Ruth and Meir Rosental Brain Imaging Center. Tal holds five university degrees in law and accounting, including Ph.D. in consumer contract law supervised by Prof. Ariel Porat the President of Tel Aviv University (TAU), and LL.M. from New York University School of Law, where he was a Hauser Scholar. Tal also holds M.A. in Cognitive Psychology (summa cum laude) from TAU. Tal clerked for Justice Theodor Or at the Israel Supreme Court; taught at the Faculty of Law of TAU as an adjunct lecturer; worked as management consultant in the New York office of McKinsey & Co.; and served on numerous of statutory committees. He is excited about the therapeutic potential of psychedelics. He also provides pro bono legal advice to MAPS Israel.

With the rediscovery of psychedelic drugs as potential treatments for psychiatric disorders, we may be on the verge of the next revolution.
